History
Many languages were used in Bohemia throughout history. The first major languages used there was Latin and German, under the rule of the Holy Roman Empire. Then, during the Habsburg Monarchy the oficial language was Latin until 1784, then from 1785 it was German. After WWI the official language then turned into Czech, but the major language spoken there was still German, until after WWII and the Potsdam agreement was signed, the Germans were expelled and the language spoken in Bohemia was Czech. Even to this day Czech is still the main language spoken in Bohemia.
